Project overview
CS Pasaraya is a supermarket / retail client. Inhome Solar completed rooftop solar installations for CS Pasaraya supermarket buildings. This page shows photography from those commercial rooftops.
Client requirement
Commercial rooftops on supermarket buildings are typically used to supply on-site electricity and, where eligible, export surplus under the current Solar ATAP programme rather than the former NEM scheme. Specific client briefs beyond the photography are added when verified.
Site assessment, design and installation
A commercial supermarket roof needs a structural and electrical assessment, an array layout around rooftop plant, and TNB / SEDA documentation. The gallery shows completed rooftops and inverter equipment. System capacity, expected generation and estimated savings stay unpublished until those figures are in the project files.
Common questions
Can I export excess solar electricity?
Eligible Solar ATAP consumers can export surplus energy to TNB within programme limits. Domestic credits use the Energy Charge component; non-domestic credits use Average SMP. Excess above imported energy or MAQ in that billing period is forfeited.
Can solar reduce my TNB bill?
Solar used on site can reduce imported electricity. Exported energy may earn a bill credit under Solar ATAP, with different rules for domestic and non-domestic accounts. Unused credit is not carried forward. Actual savings depend on usage pattern, tariff, weather and system size.
Where were the CS Pasaraya systems photographed?
Public photography on this site shows rooftop solar at CS Kajang Saujana, Alam Damai Cheras and Pasaraya CS Hulu Langat.
