Kuala Lumpur homes and businesses typically run air-conditioning through the afternoon, which is when a rooftop solar PV system generates most of its electricity. Inhome Solar designs residential and commercial installations for KL and nearby townships, then supports Solar ATAP application and TNB documentation from the Balakong branch.
Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. Rooftop solar is assessed site by site. A branch in this list does not mean every roof in the state is automatically suitable.

Landed houses in KL and adjacent Selangor townships are the usual residential candidates: terrace, semi-D and bungalow roofs can take photovoltaic arrays if structure, orientation and shading allow.
High-rise apartments and stratified units are a different case. Individual owners often cannot install panels on a shared roof without joint management body approval, so we assess landed or exclusively owned roof space rather than assuming every KL address is suitable.
Afternoon cooling load in the Klang Valley often aligns with solar generation. System size should still follow the TNB bill, daytime usage and roof area, not a generic panel count.
See residential solar in Malaysia and the solar savings calculator.
KL commercial roofs we have photographed include retail, hospitality and light industrial sites in areas such as Kepong, Kuchai and Petaling Jaya.
Factories, workshops, hotels and shop lots with a clear, structurally sound roof can be assessed for commercial rooftop solar. Export and offset rules follow the current Solar ATAP programme, not the former NEM scheme.
Site assessment covers roof access, shading from neighbouring blocks, electrical phase and the latest TNB bill.
Design and quotation follow the roof and usage. Solar ATAP paperwork and TNB documentation are handled as part of the installation process.

Yes. The public Kuala Lumpur branch is at 3A, Jln KPB 18, Kawasan Perindustrian Balakong, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor, and the team installs residential and commercial rooftop systems for KL and nearby areas.
Only if the roof is exclusively available to the applicant and the building management allows the work. Most stratified towers are not straightforward individual Solar ATAP sites. Landed homes and commercial buildings with a dedicated roof are the usual starting point.
